Security Officer Patrol Unit

As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Anacortes, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic refinery location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support site operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing a reliable, agile, innovative approach and acting with integrity in a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Mon 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Tue 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support traffic and pedestrian flow in accordance with location policies.
  • Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues, while maintaining detailed daily activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
