Job description

Marketing Scheduler II is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution of crude oil movements via pipeline and trucking. This role supports scheduling activities, nominations, and settlement processes while working closely with internal and external marketers, operations, and production groups to provide assistance in forecasting and managing production levels in relation to sales and/or transportation. Work effectively with all customers, operations, measurement, accounting, legal, and land departments to resolve new and routine issues, staying apprised of regulatory issues, tariffs, and other matters affecting contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily crude oil movements across pipeline and trucking systems to support

sales and production activities
  • Prepare, submit, and manage pipeline nominations, including timely adjustments throughout the scheduling cycle
  • Communicate directly with pipelines, trucking companies, terminals, and counterparties to execute movement plans
  • Monitor and track volumes to ensure timely deliveries and flow assurance
  • Support monthly settlement, including volume reconciliation, ticket validation, and invoice review
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to volumes, measurement, and scheduling variances
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all schedules, movements, and communications
  • Respond to operational issues such as outages, delays, or scheduling conflicts in a timely manner
  • Meet strict deadlines for nominations, scheduling cycles, and month-end close
  • Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed to ensure continuity of operations

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in crude oil scheduling, logistics, or operations (internships applicable)
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly excel and PowerPoint; experience with Allegro or similar systems is a plus
  • Basic understanding of crude oil transportation (pipeline and trucking) preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate across internal teams and external partners
  • Demonstrates a sense of ownership and urgency in completing assigned tasks in time-sensitive situations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
