Oil Lab Technicians are responsible for preparing and analyzing samples of oil and related products, conducting tests to determine properties such as viscosity, contamination, and chemical composition. They record, interpret, and report results using laboratory software and must adhere to strict safety and quality control procedures. Daily tasks also include maintaining and calibrating lab equipment, managing inventory of chemicals and supplies, and completing detailed documentation for compliance purposes. You may also collaborate with engineers, quality assurance specialists, and other lab personnel to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement.
