Production Technician
The primary responsibilities of the Lab Production Technician is responsible for the production, quality control, and packaging of cannabis products The Production Technician will perform critical tasks to ensure that the company's regulated cannabis infused products are produced in a timely, high quality, and compliant manner and are available to qualified customers when needed. This role involves operating extraction and processing equipment, conducting quality assessments, and ensuring products are packaged in compliance with industry standards and regulations. The person in this role needs to have strong attention to detail, follow direction well, maintain consistency across large volumes of products, and be an adaptable team player.
Essential Duties:
Extraction and Processing:
  • Operate and maintain extraction equipment
  • Prepare cannabis material for extraction, including grinding, decarboxylation, and weighing.
  • Execute extraction processes according to established protocols to maximize yield and purity.

Product Formulation:
  • Assist in formulating cannabis products, including oils, tinctures, edibles, and topicals.
  • Measure and mix raw materials following specific recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Document all formulations and batch production processes accurately.

Quality Control:
  • Conduct routine testing and analysis of raw materials and finished products using chromatography and other analytical techniques.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet regulatory and quality standards.
  • Identify and report any inconsistencies or quality issues to the supervisor.

Packaging:
  • Prepare products for packaging, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and storage.
  • Operate packaging equipment, including bottlers, labelers, and vacuum sealers.
  • Ensure that all packaging complies with regulatory requirements, including child-resistant packaging and accurate product information.
  • Maintain accurate records of packaged products, including batch numbers and inventory levels.

Laboratory Maintenance:
