In this field, your job is to ensure compliance with industry policies and health regulations. On the oil field, there are safety managers whose duties assist with the proper training of workplace health and safety awareness, manage related budgets, and oversee employees. You can also work as a safety auditor, where you inspect and audit locations to check that workers handle hazardous materials properly and provide recommendations to improve work procedures.
