As an oil field electrician, your responsibilities center around the installation and maintenance of an electrical system at an oil rig. You monitor and troubleshoot equipment and create reports on efficiency. You are also in charge of all instruments for the job. Your duties also require that you be in control of preventative maintenance, which involves creating a long-term plan with maintenance supervisors.
