About the Role:

The Quality Lab Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the established quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This position involves conducting dimensional assessments of molded product, performing functional tests, and executing audits to identify any defects or areas for improvement. The technician will support production teams with corrective action implementation and enhancement of product quality through the maintenance of accurate metrology records. The Quality technican contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. Ultimately, this role is vital in upholding the company's reputation for delivering high-quality products to customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection tools and techniques, such as calipers, micrometers, and statistical process control.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in quality control or quality assurance (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ certification).
  • Familiarity with measurement devices like OGP of Keyence.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering part drawings.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities:
