About the Role We are looking for a Senior Strategist, Influencer Marketing to work on a leading beauty and consumer goods brand, and bring social expertise and perspective to an integrated environment. Our new Senior Strategist will work on Social Media Influencer Marketing programs and must have a strategic mindset and deep knowledge in the social media space. We are seeking someone with superior relationship‐building skills and someone who is a team player. The position will be responsible for the execution of day‐to‐day influencer marketing activities on behalf of brands, using influencers as brand advocates, content promoters, and content contributors, as well as building deep strategic plans that focus on a melding of creative storytelling + business‐driven data results. What You'll Do Collaborate with internal teams and broader IAT to create influencer programs and distribution strategies that align with client goals and objectives. Present campaign strategies, POVs, influencer selects, briefs, day‐to‐day updates and campaign results to internal teams and client. Oversee research, identification, and relationship management with influencers that help meet brand goals via influencer partnerships supported by SaaS toolbox. Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts within the influencer space while ensuring that client/agency relationships exist on multiple levels and grow over time. Create and conduct influencer brief for creatives and influencers. Analyze and assess campaigns to provide valuable insights and opportunities. Remain on the pulse of influencer marketing trends to ensure creative, maximum exposure. Efficiently and effectively plan and manage influencers at large‐scale events. Ensure campaigns are correctly tracking to the campaign budget, including consideration of SAG. What You'll Need Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media influencer strategy and execution; experience in driving talent partnerships. Strategic mindset, deep experience in building out tactical recommendations, and ability to connect brand partnerships with voices that are relevant in culture. Proven ability to develop meaningful influencer relationships that result in authentic storytelling that drive impact. Proven ability to identify relevant influencers and conduct effective outreach. Proven ability to professionally and effectively present to and communicate with clients on a daily basis, building strong relationships. Strong project management skills with attention to detail, including close management of budget and influencer payments. Experience with paid social media in support of influencer campaigns, including working closely with paid social teams or agencies for seamless integration. Proven ability to shepherd the development of legal contracts with influencers, working in partnership with legal teams to negotiate redlines to mutual satisfaction. Experience working with influencer and content management tools. Understands influencer search tools and platforms to assess the effectiveness of an influencer.
