Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Global Operations team in Carlsbad, CA. This role supports Distribution, Warehouse, and Logistics business functions and associated enterprise systems. The Business Analyst will provide Level 2 production support, participate in project initiatives, and act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Project Support
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
  • System Requirement Specifications (SRS)
  • Conduct working sessions and stakeholder workshops.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, architects, vendors, and developers.
  • Support software upgrades, enhancements, and new system implementations.
  • Document business use cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Design future-state solutions aligned with IT architecture standards.
  • Develop detailed design artifacts including:
  • Data models
  • Process flows
  • System interfaces

Support & Maintenance
  • Provide incident, break/fix, and production support (Level 2).
  • Identify system issues and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • Perform:
  • Functional testing
  • Regression testing
  • Integration testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Write and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures using:
  • MS SQL Server Management Studio
  • Oracle PL/SQL
  • Monitor system performance and support ongoing system maintenance.

Training & Documentation
  • Conduct training sessions for end users and technical teams.
  • Prepare and maintain training materials, system documentation, and user guides.
  • Support knowledge transfer across business and IT teams.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Hands-on experience with Manhattan WMOS (2010 & 2018).
  • Experience with ERP systems:
  • Oracle Enterprise E1
  • SAP
  • BAAN
  • 2-3 years of experience with:
  • Oracle PL/SQL
  • MS SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, triggers)
  • Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics processes, including:
  • Pick, Pack, Ship (PPS)
  • Experience with integration technologies:
  • XML
  • WebMethods
  • Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM)
  • Experience with reporting tools:
  • IBM Cognos
  • Power BI
