Position Summaryย ย 
  • Reporting toย the Financial Controller, theย Sr. Analyst plays a critical role in supporting financial planning, cost analysis, and operational decisionโ€‘making within Olam Peanut Shelling.ย ย This position partners closely with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership to provide accurate cost insights, evaluate performance, and drive continuous improvement across production processes.
  • Positionย Responsibilitiesย 
  • Perform variance analysis, including material, labor, overhead, and production efficiency variances.
  • Review perpetual inventory, physical inventories, and reporting and analysis of variances.ย 
  • Provideย audit support to both internal and external auditors.ย 
  • Perform cost accounting for process costing including absorption rates, cost estimates, product set-up, activity rates, and SKU profitability.ย 
  • Support monthโ€‘end close activities related to inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and plant-specific performance.
  • Prepare and analyze manufacturing KPIs, dashboards, and operational performance reports.
  • Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decisionโ€‘making.
  • Partner with supply chain and production teams to evaluate scrap, yield, and throughput metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost accuracy, financial processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform sales analysis and reconciliation of Sold Position, absorption of cost drivers, and Exposure report.ย 
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling.ย 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.ย

Position Requirementsย ย 
  • CPA or CMA, preferred.ย 
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldย required.ย ย 
  • 3-5 yearsย progressive finance experience isย required.
  • Experience with SAP, Tableau, and other integrated reporting solutions is preferred.ย 
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills areย required.ย 
  • Excellent teamwork, relationship building, and coordinative skills areย required. Must be able to work with diverseย teamย across geographies.ย 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.ย ย ย
