Advanced Manufacturing Opportunity

A transformative 18-month program designed for individuals with or without prior manufacturing experience. Participants have the opportunity to attend a fully paid, company-sponsored school through G.S. Precision Inc. while building a career in advanced manufacturing.

G.S. Precision Inc. and Vermont Technical College are seeking candidates to participate in the GSP School of Manufacturing Technology, beginning Fall 2026. This is a unique opportunity to work full time while completing structured training and earning college credit toward a degree. Participants will earn 10 college credits toward Vermont State University's Engineering Technology degree program, fully funded by GSP.

The program combines hands-on machining instruction with formal classroom education. In addition, participants will engage in a registered apprenticeship, rotating through multiple operational areas to develop a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and the full range of capabilities at G.S. Precision.

This program is designed to develop individuals into advanced machinists, and depending on your aptitude, setup machinists capable of working at a high level within aerospace manufacturing.

Participants will work full time (32 hours per week with the ability to work 40 hours and OT) at GSP while attending evening classes. Competitive wages are provided along with a full benefits package and bonus program, including medical and dental insurance, company-paid life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.

Candidates will be required to take mechanical and math aptitude exams administered by Vermont State University and complete a formal interview process.
