Project Overview:
Bechtel is supporting efforts to revitalize chipmaking in the U.S. by designing and building an advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility in Ohio. Our team’s ability to design for rapid advances in technology and deploy best-in-class construction innovation will help transform Ohio into the “Silicon Heartland” by creating an entire supply chain to deliver the project, including engineers, construction leadership, and craft professionals.
Project Cardinal is the new semiconductor manufacturing facilities, located in Ohio, will further revitalize chipmaking in the U.S. and help restore dependability and resilience to the global semiconductor supply chain. Bringing this capability to Ohio is a historic win for the region and for America.
Bechtel will partner with the North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU) and suppliers to create new construction jobs, and work with local education organizations to implement training programs.
Project Cardinal Conditions:
Start Time: 7:00 AM
Working Mon-Fri - 10 Hours per day Mandatory
This call pays $300 for working 45 hours Monday through Friday and additional $100 for 58 Hours.
Starting ASAP Site-Specific Drug Screen and Background Check.
Long Sleeves on site required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and technical drawings to understand pipeline layouts and system requirements.
- Plan and execute pipe system layouts, selecting appropriate pipe sizes, types, supports, hangers, and hydraulic components.
- Cut, thread, bend, and hammer pipes to specifications using saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, and benders.
- Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems such as pumps, valves, and cylinders.
- Attach pipes to structures, tanks, and fixtures using brackets, clamps, or welding equipment.
- Inspect work sites for obstructions and structural integrity before installation.
- Perform trial runs, tests, and repairs to ensure system functionality and leak-free operation.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Hold an active EPRI certification.
- Hold an active NCCER or NCCO certification.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed specifications.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, pipe bending machines, and testing equipment.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and offshore rigging safety protocols.
- Physical stamina for working in challenging, often outdoor or offshore environments.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
