Hitch rotation: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off

POSITION OVERVIEW: Senior SCADA Commissioning Lead-- We are seeking an experienced SCADA Commissioning Lead to support the delivery of SCADA systems across offshore wind projects. The role is positioned as an independent, on-site consultant function with responsibility for ensuring that all SCADA commissioning activities are executed safely, in compliance with applicable standards, and in alignment with the overall project schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as central coordination point for SCADA commissioning across contractors, engineering teams, and commissioning management
  • Oversee commissioning scope including Substation Control Systems, WTG SCADA, grid compliance, communication networks, metering, and auxiliary systems
  • Establish and maintain full control of commissioning activities to ensure seamless execution in a multi-stakeholder EPC environment
  • Lead preparation and execution of FAT, SAT, and SIT, ensuring all testing is properly conducted, documented, and approved
  • Develop and manage the SCADA Commissioning Plan, including scope, quality assurance, and project timelines
  • Ensure all commissioning deliverables meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and HSE compliance
  • Coordinate interfaces between SCADA contractors, electrical commissioning teams, and key project stakeholders
  • Manage daily commissioning activities, tracking progress against plan and ensuring alignment across teams
  • Proactively identify risks to schedule, quality, and execution; drive mitigation strategies and corrective actions
  • Enforce quality standards by reviewing, challenging, and rejecting non-compliant work or documentation
  • Provide regular reporting to Commissioning Manager and SCADA Package Manager with focus on progress, risks, and transparency
  • Support delivery of audit-ready documentation and complete commissioning records
  • Contribute to overall project success through improved coordination, risk reduction, and high-quality SCADA system commissioning
  • Ensure safe execution of all activities with zero critical HSE incidents within scope
REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of experience within SCADA or automation commissioning, preferably from offshore wind or similar large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • A solid technical foundation combined with strong project execution capabilities is essential, as is the ability to operate independently in a demanding site environment.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience working with international contractors and managing complex interfaces.
  • Able to maintain GWO certifications
