Role:  - Supply Chain Management (SCM) D365 F&O Functional Lead consultant

Houston, TX - onsite

Long termed contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Supply Chain functional track of an implementation.
  • Provide expert level product knowledge of D365 F&O SCM
  • Collaborate with the client SMEs, as well as other consultants to ensure all client requirements are met.
  • Product training and knowledge transfer
  • Software configuration, testing, and validation
  • Documentation of requirements, Fit/Gap analysis, functional software designs.
  • Work with offshore consultants and offshore project manager to deliver services

Job Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all SCM modules in D365 F&O including Inventory, Product Information Mgt, Sales Order, Procurement, Warehouse Mgt, Transportation Mgt,
  • Knowledge of Production, Master Planning, Demand Planning, a plus
  • Strong Communication Skills including verbal & written.
  • Ability to identify issues and obstacles and resolve them within the scope of the project or escalate them in a proper & timely manner.
  • Gather & document client business requirements in a thorough and complete manner including business processes and individual functions.
  • Ability to perform a fit/gap analysis on the requirements identifying gaps in standard functionality as well as best possible standard workarounds.
  • Configure SCM modules to fit the client's specific requirements.
  • Create Functional Design Documents for software modifications to address approved gaps in functionality using best practices. Design must be efficient, adhere to best practices, and fully address the client's needs.
  • Understand project scope and adhere to it, escalating any out-of-scope requests to the Project Manager
  • Ability to lead workshops, sessions, conference calls, and presentations related to SCM.
  • Ability to map table & fields with D365 F&O data scheme.
  • Follow established implementation methodology and confirm to accepted document templates for all deliverables.
  • Knowledge of software testing processes and best practices.
  • Ability to demonstrate D365 F&O SCM functionality and processes to the client without error in an understandable manner.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-10+ full lifecycle Dynamics F&O implementations
  • Certification in D365 F&O SCM
  • Expert level knowledge and experience implementing the following modules:
    • Inventory, PIM, Warehouse Mgt, Sales Order, Procurement, Transportation Management
    • Production Control a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office, Teams, DevOps/Jira, SharePoint,
  • Knowledge of agriculture industry a plus, or other "recipe" based industries i.e. food, chemical, etc.
  • Knowledge of integration strategies & best practices related to D365 F&O
