Familiarity with telemedicine systems, medical evacuation procedures, and offshore safety regulations is typically required. What is an Offshore Paramedic job?

An Offshore Paramedic is a medical professional who provides emergency and routine healthcare on offshore oil rigs, ships, or remote marine locations. They are responsible for treating injuries, managing medical emergencies, and coordinating evacuations if necessary. They also conduct health and safety training, maintain medical supplies, and support occupational health programs. This role is crucial in ensuring the health and safety of workers in remote offshore locations.

What is the typical work schedule and living arrangement for Offshore Paramedics?

Offshore Paramedics generally work in rotational shifts, such as two weeks on and two or three weeks off, living on the offshore installation for the duration of their rotation.
