Pathway Imaging is a patient-focused, state-of-the-art medical imaging center offering comprehensive care across multiple specialties, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, Pain Management, and other related services. Our integrated model allows patients to receive coordinated, efficient care in one locationโ€”eliminating unnecessary visits and improving outcomes.


We are seeking a skilled and dependable PRN Paramedic to support our imaging team in Victoria, Texas. This role is responsible for assisting with contrast-enhanced imaging procedures, monitoring patients, and responding to any medical needs that may arise during exams.


This position requires a high level of clinical judgment, patient care, and the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced outpatient environment.


Responsibilities


Provide safe, high-quality patient care during imaging procedures, particularly contrast exams
Monitor patients before, during, and after contrast administration
Recognize and respond to adverse reactions or medical emergencies
Administer medications and intravenous fluids in accordance with physician orders and protocols
Demonstrate competency in IV insertion, maintenance, and patient monitoring
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment (oxygen, suction, defibrillator, etc.)
Assist clinical staff with patient preparation and positioning as needed
Document patient interactions, procedures, and any incidents accurately
Ensure emergency supplies and equipment are properly stocked and maintained
Communicate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications


High school diploma or GED required
Current Texas Paramedic certification required
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of paramedic experience preferred
Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols and patient care
Ability to work independently in a clinical setting
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills


Schedule


Approximately 2โ€“3 days per month to support contrast imaging coverage
