Job description

Overview
The Offshore Supply Chain Specialist is part of the offshore Material Management and logistics coordination for a Danos customer on a production platform. This position is responsible for executing the day-to-day operations of the offshore warehouse operations and asset logistic support: covering the inbound receipt, storage, issuing and returns for an offshore asset. The goal is to store, maintain and deliver the goods in the right quantity, time and place to people performing the Operations and Preservation and Maintenance of the offshore asset (production platform).
Responsibilities
  • Physical Inventory counts offshore warehouses on a yearly basis. This consists of physically walking through the warehouse(s) and counting material items.
  • Care and custody of warehouse materials ensure accuracy and availability in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Material tracking and availability for various operations teams on and offshore.
  • Physical and systematic staging and issuance of material for scheduled work and/ or consumable items.
  • Physical and systematic movement of materials based on location and need. Picking up and putting down material on floor or shelving is required.
  • Weekly offload of material cargo boxes. This includes the physical offload, confirmation of materials on a Bill of lading, and physical storage of said materials. Picking up and putting down material on floor or shelving is required.
  • Shipment of materials through a tracker in and out of the platform. This includes but is not limited to tracking repair and return items.
  • Monitoring and action of shared and personal email inboxes to ensure business continuity.
  • Optimization of Warehouse space: Including placement of fast-moving materials, materials with special storage requirements, materials with different physical profiles.
  • Assisting in optimization of stocking strategies for replenishment materials.
  • Offshore point of contact for material management and supply chain related inquiries.
  • Participation and adherence in any asset/company mandated programs, trainings, and/or other requirements.
  • Willingness to engage effectively with coworkers and colleagues with varying levels of experience and knowledge.
  • Ability to always don mandatory PPE (Personal protective equipment) when required.

  • Experience and understanding of Microsoft office tools
  • Print Out and distribution generate accurate Personnel on Board (POB) reports ensure visibility of headcount, roles, and emergency accountability.
  • Coordinate, track, and reconcile all inbound and outbound cargo movements
  • Assign and manage bunk allocations to optimize bed utilization, accommodate crew rotations, and resolve conflicts caused by last-minute personnel changes or extended stays.
  • Update the ICS system throughout the hitch to reflect real-time personnel changes, role adjustments, or departures to maintain accurate records and compliance.
  • Initiate and manage urgent "hotshot" transportation requests for critical material

Qualifications
• Ability to multitask and handle heavy workloads
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong Analytical Capability, including managing KPIs on a regular basis
• SAP experience required (P-16 Instance specifically)
• Minimum of 5 years Material handling and warehousing experience, including heavy equipment (crane lifts, fork trucks, pallet jacks, dollys) lifting and movement experience
• Oil & Gas Industry Experience required
• Offshore Experience is preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
• Self-starter and excellent organization skills to be able to handle multiple activities and prioritize work
  • This position will require offshore travel
