Job description

The Logistics Support Analyst sources and coordinates the purchase and receipt of products and services in support of the Engineering department.

Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore energy industry. REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;

  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, procurement, and/or supply support related jobs or activities;

  • Ability to obtain security clearance;

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and database management;

  • Demonstrated intermediate level knowledge and skills with various LMI databases;

  • Demonstrated intermediate knowledge and effective use of supply support processes;

  • Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of specific equipment and parts identification;

  • Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of specification review and parts validation;

  • Skilled in time management, oral comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking, written comprehension, information ordering, active listening, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning;

  • Demonstrated knowledge Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI) handling and tracking;

  • Intermediate math, administration, and management skills;

  • Ability to write business correspondence and interact with others in a professional manner.

DESIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.

  • Deltek Costpoint ERP and MRP system experience.

Salary range for this position is $74,600 - $112,000

ESSENTIAL

  • Performs technical/administrative lead functions associated with Integrated Product Support (IPS) requirements for OTECH and its program contract deliverables;

  • Responsible for the development and/or review of all plans, technical documentation, specifications or planning/management and logistics data of all levels and types in accordance with commercial and military specifications and standards;

  • Review requisitions and product specifications for terminology and accuracy;

  • Maintain records of various part and vendor data, depending on project requirements, for traceability and historical reference to support change of scope requests and obsolescence tracking;

  • Conduct parts and material data entry into multiple custom Logistics Management Information (LMI) databases and maintain databases with current specification and inventory information;

  • Oversee and/or conduct physical inventories and physical configuration audits;

  • Oversee and/or create allowance lists, obsolescence tracking, and technical refresh plans;

  • Assist with engineering change instructions/orders and changes to configuration items and allowance parts lists.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • May supervise lower level support staff, including Logistics Support Analyst and admin support personnel.
