Job description

Overview

We are seeking an Offshore Utility to support night shift galley operations in an offshore environment. This position is responsible for meal preparation, baking, stocking, sanitation, and maintaining a clean, safe, and audit‑ready galley.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals and breakfast for day and night shifts, including bulk and individual portions
  • Maintain fresh salad bar items daily and support baking rotation (pies, cookies, pastries)
  • Follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures
  • Coordinate baking with delivery schedules
  • Properly store, label, date, and rotate food and ingredients
  • Assist with grocery handling and storage on delivery days
  • Restock water stations, beverages, and galley supplies
  • Operate, clean, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment
  • Perform general galley housekeeping and waste disposal
  • Complete required Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documentation
  • Support end‑of‑hitch deep cleaning (vents, walls, steam lines)
Qualifications
  • Prior food service, galley, or commercial kitchen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work independently during night shift

Physical Requirements

Schedule: 14x14 Rotation, consisting of 12 hour work shifts, living on the platform during your entire hitch in shared living quarters
