Job Summary:

The Technician - Cable Installation plays a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of cable infrastructure within the wholesale trade industry. This position involves installing, testing, and troubleshooting various types of cable systems to guarantee optimal performance and reliability. The technician will work closely with project managers and clients to meet installation deadlines while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to different environments and technical challenges. Ultimately, the technician’s work directly impacts the efficiency and connectivity of communication networks, supporting the broader business operations and customer satisfaction.


Job Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to learn about cable types, connectors, and testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in fiber optic installation (e.g., FOA Certified Fiber Optic Technician).
  • Experience working with fiber optic splicing and testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
  • Previous experience in the wholesale trade or telecommunications industry.
