Office Manager

The Office Manager – Secondary Office oversees daily administrative operations of the secondary office and assigned Head Start sites. This role ensures consistent implementation of administrative systems, supports staff and families, and helps maintain compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS), licensing requirements, and agency policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily front-office and administrative operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for families, visitors, and community partners.
  • Maintain organized and compliant program, child, and administrative records.
  • Coordinate office workflows, scheduling, and coverage.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and service requests.
  • Support preparation for monitoring reviews, audits, and licensing visits.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience required.
  • Strong technology literacy and experience with computer software (i.e., Office 365, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel spreadsheets, Word (including formatting & mail merge) required.
    • PowerPoint experience a plus.
  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field and (2) years of progressively responsible administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience in Head Start, early childhood education, or human services preferred.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.


Schedule: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Starting Pay: $25.65 per hour
