Description:

FW Walton Roofing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to support our Project Management team. This internship provides hands-on experience in the industrial roofing and construction industry by assisting with project coordination, scheduling, documentation, communication, and day-to-day project operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and interested in developing a career in construction or project management.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

· Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and coordinating roofing projects. 

· Help track project timelines, material deliveries, budgets, and job progress to ensure projects remain on schedule. 

· Prepare and organize project documentation including purchase orders, contracts, reports, change orders, and job files. 

· Coordinate meetings, take meeting notes, and communicate updates with internal teams and subcontractors. 

· Support field operations by assisting with project follow-ups, inspections, and job status updates. 

· Monitor project milestones and help identify potential delays or issues. 

· Assist with workflow analysis and process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency. 

· Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is accessible and up to date. 

· Provide administrative support to the Project Management team as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. 

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with construction or project management software is a plus. 

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. 

· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Interest in the construction or roofing industry. 

· Basic understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, or construction processes. 

· Internship or prior administrative experience is a plus but not required.
