Job description

This position is intended to meet a short-term business need and is expected to conclude at the end of the designated assignment period.
About the Position:
As the Office Coordinator you will coordinate the operations of the mailroom, assist with inventory of supplies of stored items, assist with coverage of front desk operations, along with additional general office functions.
What You Will Do:
  • Assist with the ordering, inventory & distribution of office supplies.
  • Ensure mailroom and breakroom locations are neatly stocked and in order.
  • Manage, sort, and dispense incoming mail and packages.
  • Processing of outgoing mail.
  • Serve as primary backup for front desk operations.
  • Assist with inventory and stock beverage stations throughout the office.
  • Escort vendors throughout the office to retrieve items and deliver supplies to appropriate destination within the office.
  • Assist with maintaining supplies in all workrooms.
  • Maintain required employment posters for all workrooms.
  • Perform various clerical tasks as needed (file papers, organize supplies, etc.).
  • Provide administrative support to department upon request.
  • Assist Director, Office Administration with all building wide and corporation wide events.
  • Performs other duties as needed

  • High School Diploma required, associate's degree preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred

Working Conditions/Demands:
  • Professional office setting.
  • Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
  • Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Occasionally lift boxes of supplies or mail weighing up to 15 pounds.
  • Some essential functions of the position cannot be performed remotely and require on-site work in order to maintain customer relationships and administrative tasks while also providing cross department support.
