Summary:
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented operations professional who enjoys a combination of office administration, shipping logistics, inventory management, and customer order processing. As an Office Assistant, you will support daily business operations by managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, processing purchase and sales orders, and assisting leadership with data management activities. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working in a small warehouse environments, and capable of handling multiple priorities throughout the day.
What You'll Do:
Process incoming and outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx, and freight carrier portals.
Prepare packaging, packing slips, shipping labels, and shipment documentation.
Process customer purchase orders, sales orders, and related operational paperwork.
Receive inventory from vendors, label products, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Conduct quarterly inventory counts and track stock levels.
Schedule and coordinate freight shipments, including large toolboxes, through Old Dominion Freight.
Maintain an organized warehouse environment and support inventory management activities.
Assist leadership with data entry and reporting within Monday.com and internal systems.
Support general office and operational tasks as needed.
Experience You'll Need:
Experience processing purchase orders, sales orders, and packing slips.
Experience preparing shipments through UPS, FedEx, and freight portals.
Warehouse and inventory management experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry systems.
Experience with Monday.com or similar workflow management software preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a small office/warehouse environment.
