Job Description:
Our client is a well established CPA firm in Newark, DE and they are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their team. These positions will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support while assisting with payroll, human resources, accounting-related tasks, and day-to-day office coordination.
The ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented professionals who are comfortable handling confidential information, working independently, and managing multiple priorities in a professional office environment.
-Manage general office administration and day-to-day office operations
-Provide administrative support to firm leadership and staff
-Handle incoming calls, correspondence, scheduling, filing, and document management
-Maintain accurate employee and office records
-Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related administration
-Support onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and other HR functions
-Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries as needed
-Perform bookkeeping and accounting-related administrative tasks
-Utilize QuickBooks for financial and administrative functions
-Process invoices, payments, and other financial paperwork
-Maintain organized and confidential personnel and financial files
-Assist with office vendors, supplies, and general facilities coordination
-Support compliance with company policies and procedures
-Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
-QuickBooks experience/certification is required
-Previous experience in office administration, bookkeeping, accounting support, payroll, HR, or a related role
-Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
-Experience with payroll processing and/or payroll administration
-Familiarity with basic HR processes and employee recordkeeping
-Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
-Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
