Join us in making a positive impact in the lives of our client's through innovative programs and personalized care. The Director of Nursing oversees and manages a team of nurses/ caregivers in the home care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspect of care provided to our clients to promote the over all well- being and safety of our clients. 

Position Description:

  • We are looking for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the role of Director of Nursing. This role is a combination of administrative duties in the office as well as providing clinical over-sight in the field.
  • Schedule - Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Schedule - After Hours On Call Rotation.
  • The candidate need to possess strong leadership and communication skills and must be dependable. The candidate must have the ability to oversee personal care and support staff as well as clinical nursing staff. Must be competent in overseeing wound care, IV infusion and ventilator cases. Pediatrics is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Duties to include but are not limited to:
  • QA, QI, quarterly and annually  Audits
  • Ensure oversight of quality of care provided / Case Management
  • Incident report
  • Occurrence report 
  • Joint Commissions / AHCA Compliance
  • Oversee orientation, annual reviews and establish employee clinical competency 
  • Annual Performance review of staff
  • Employee Management / Staff Counseling 
  • Participate Mock Survey 
  • Oversee overall Clinical operation

Requirements:

  • FL Drivers License
  • AHCA Level 2 Background
  • RN License in Good Standing with the State of FL
  • Certified in CPR
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
  • Strong Clinical and Leadership skills, minimum 2 years requirement in Homecare preferably. Will consider candidates with strong clinical and leadership background.
