Qualifications: Bus Driver
  • Posses or be able to obtain an Oregon CDL class B license and School Bus Certificate?
  • Posses or be able to obtain a First Aid card along with a Bus Driver's Certification
  • Pass a DOT physical, check of driving and criminal records by ODE, random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Attend eight (8) hours of class annually
  • Flexible, dependable, even tempered and positive attitude.
Major Job Responsibilities:
  • Transport students safely to and from school?
  • Perform thourough pre-trip inspection and report any malfunctions
  • Gain knowledge of ODOT laws pertaining to school bus and written policy
  • Be punctual and communicate professionally with supervisor, staff, and students
Salary: Determined per OSEA and Jewell School District Collective Bargaining Agreement
