Overview

The Ascendancy Group is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Specialist to provide advanced administrative, operational, and program coordination support. This role leads complex administrative initiatives, streamlines organizational workflows, manages sensitive information, and ensures effective coordination. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience supporting high-tempo operational environments, excels in foreign travel coordination and country clearance processes, and offers proactive solutions to time-critical administrative challenges. In this role the ideal candidate provides guidance to leadership, enhances administrative tactics and procedures, and may deploy independently OCONUS in support of mission requirements.


Security Requirement:

  • An active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide advanced administrative, operational, and program coordination support to associated technical and operational elements.

Conduct detailed analysis of administrative processes and organizational workflows to identify gaps and develop solutions to complex or time-critical administrative challenges.

Lead designated administrative support projects, overseeing operational integration, process development, documentation, and schedule management.

Manage sensitive administrative actions including document control, fiscal tracking, task management, and compliance with organizational and DoD administrative standards.

Oversee travel operations, including foreign travel coordination, country clearances, and adherence to host-nation, DoD, and NATO administrative requirements.

Provide expert recommendations to operational leadership on workflow optimization, information management practices, and administrative process improvements.

Support the development and refinement of administrative tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to meet emerging mission needs.

Independently manage competing priorities in high-tempo environments with minimal supervision.

Handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure adherence to all applicable security protocols.

Deploy independently OCONUS in support of mission requirements when tasked.


Position Requirements:

Minimum 7-10 years of experience providing administrative, operational, or program support in military, government, or high-security environments.

Proven ability to analyze administrative processes, identify gaps, and implement effective solutions.

Strong proficiency in managing travel operations, including international travel coordination and country clearance requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities with demonstrated ability to operate independently.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately.

Willingness and ability to deploy OCONUS independently as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience supporting Naval Special Warfare or joint Special Operations entities.

Familiarity with NATO processes, administrative frameworks, or multinational coordination requirements.

Experience developing or refining administrative TTPs or organizational process improvements.

Advanced expertise in DoD administrative systems, correspondence management, and task tracking tools.

Prior leadership experience in administrative, operational support, or program management roles.
