Weโ€™re seeking skilled OB/GYN physicians to join our hospitalist team at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Stafford Township, New Jersey.
Southern Ocean Medical Center
Southern Ocean Medical Center (SOMC) currently sees approximately 350 annual deliveries and 525 outpatient visits. The childbirth centers are staffed 24-7 with experts specially trained in labor and delivery, including Anesthesiologists, Board-certified obstetricians, Magnet-recognized labor and delivery nurses and maternal-fetal medicine physicians who specialize in high-risk pregnancy.
This Level I facility offers a steady yet manageable volume, with approximately 17 deliveries and 107 patient encounters per month for hospitalistsโ€”giving you the opportunity to stay clinically engaged without feeling overwhelmed. These are 24-hour shifts focusing primarily on obstetric care with only emergent GYN coverage required. Youโ€™ll have access to in-house anesthesia (readily available or on-site within 30 minutes) and the added support of MFM specialists on-site weekly, with transfers to Jersey Shore University Medical Center when higher acuity care is needed.
