Job description

  • Handle LCL and FCL shipments for our customers in all aspects, from booking to billing.
  • Accurately process export documentation for our customers' shipments.
  • Prepare quotes to customers and overseas agents, source best method of transportation.
  • Communicate with overseas agents to ensure proper pre-alerts and documentation.
  • Continually explore different options to reduce cost, and increase revenues.
  • Track and trace shipment and provide updates to customers.
  • Uphold a strong and professional relationship with shipping lines, truckers and other vendors.
  • Demonstrate an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain shipment files throughout the process and ensure costing and billing are completed timely.

Salary Range 70-75K depending on experience and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Better than average understanding of the Export Regulations and other government agency regulations that govern exports.
  • Working knowledge of all ocean export procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • IMDG certified
  • Working knowledge of Cargowise One is a plus.
