Job description

Advanced Practice Nurse

In collaboration with a physician, assumes total patient care for designated patients. Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates comprehensive care to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited program of advanced practice nursing
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in the delivery of nursing services

Licensure/certification/registration:

  • One of the following:
    • Current Alabama RN license
    • Current multi state RN license in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*

    *Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

  • CRNP credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and collaboration with physician approved by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners
  • After June 1, 2012, ACLS or BLS is required for hire
