Job description
In collaboration with a physician, assumes total patient care for designated patients. Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates comprehensive care to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery.
Minimum qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited program of advanced practice nursing
- Advanced knowledge and skills in the delivery of nursing services
Licensure/certification/registration:
- One of the following:
- Current Alabama RN license
- Current multi state RN license in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*
- CRNP credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and collaboration with physician approved by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners
- After June 1, 2012, ACLS or BLS is required for hire
