The role
The Safety Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of hundreds of team members on our jobsites each day. You will work to advance our policies, programs, and procedures governing safe work practices and promote our 24/7 safety culture.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the H&S department with general administrative tasks.
  • Promote a positive health and safety (H&S) culture across the company.
  • Maintain H&S compliance while motivating staff and fostering a positive H&S culture.
  • Conduct inductions for new starters and ensure they are provided with adequate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Assisting with site visits and safety audits, including long-term travel as needed.
  • Assisting with risk assessments and compile/review Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Assisting with toolbox talks and safety alerts for the workplace.Participate in accident investigations and provide solutions based on findings.
  • Assisting with the implementation of COSHH control for hazardous substances and ensure proper measures.
  • Assist in delivering safety training programs for employees.
  • Comply with the matrix of roles and responsibilities in health and safety at work (P14.130S-F01).

Experience and Education:
  • AS or BS in Occupational Safety or related fields
  • Previous experience within Safety departments no less than 2 years, in field-based positions within industrial environments (MUST).

Skills required
  • Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft programs such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
  • Good interpersonal relations by working well with teams.
  • Fluent in Spanish (MUST)
  • Travel availability (80% during the month)
