Job description

Active Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI Required***

Marathon TS is seeking Cleared Observers to support the DoD at Offutt AFB in Bellevue NE.

Observers perform escort and observation duties at Offutt Air Force Base and will be responsible for continuous knowledge of the location of employees under his/her control. The Observer will ensure adequate observation and physical control of construction workers regardless of whether observation is of pedestrian construction personnel, construction vehicles or oversight of special construction items/equipment. Observers may also be utilized for oversight of specialty items off/outside the construction zone, to include oversight when transporting specialty items to and from the construction sites/zone. Additionally, observers will assist with construction zone/site badge issue and control for all/any personnel requiring entry to the construction zone/sites.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Shall understand, be able to apply and adhere to the principles of the Privacy Act, Title 5 of the U.S. Code, Section 552a and applicable rules and regulations.
  • Shall understand, be able to apply and adhere to the principles of Operations Security (OPSEC) for identifying, controlling and protecting critical unclassified information per National Security Decision Directive Number 298 and DODD 5205.2 (series) DOD OPSEC Program Manual.
  • Shall have the ability to meet and deal successfully with the general public.
  • Shall understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials to their assigned duties.
  • Shall have the ability to maintain poise and self-control under stress.
  • Shall have the ability to conduct "Stop & Questionโ€ of person's found in closed

and locked areas, parking lots and throughout the construction site after hours and on weekends/ holidays to ensure no criminal activity has or is taking place.

  • Shall have the ability to construct and write clear, concise, and accurate detailed reports if needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active TS Clearance
  • At least 2 years' experience in or supporting military programs.
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license or permit
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Shall not have any misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude, acts of dishonesty, assault or battery or felony convictions, nor receive any while employed in this position.
  • Must be able to fluently read, write and speak English.
