OBGYN Physician - Academic Generalist

Columbia, SC

Prisma Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OBGYN physician with a passion for teaching to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Columbia, SC. This Academic Generalist role includes clinical responsibilities across all four clinic locations: 9 Medical Park, 2 Medical Park, Sunset Drive, and Hardscrabble Ob/Gyn.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical duties across all four clinic locations, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care.
  • Collaborate with a diverse OBGYN team, including 5 AP Providers and 19 physicians covering specialties such as urogynecology, minimally invasive surgery, complex family planning, maternal‑fetal medicine, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and genetic counseling.
  • Participate in academic activities such as teaching medical students, APP students and OBGYN residents at the University of South Carolina.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Strong teaching and academic interest.
