Indiana University Health is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physicians for locum tenens coverage at IU Health North Hospital and IU Health Fishers Hospital. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative OB/GYN team in a high-volume, high-acuity system with flexible shift options to fit your preferred schedule.

  • Must be comfortable with full-scope OB/GYN including:

    • Low & high-risk pregnancies

    • Routine and complicated deliveries (including VBACs, breech, and multiple births)

    • Decision-making for and performance of C-sections

    • Management of acute obstetric emergencies (e.g., abruptions)

    • Emergent GYN surgical procedures:

      • Suction D&C

      • Laparoscopic salpingectomy for ectopic pregnancy

      • Laparoscopic cystectomy/oophorectomy

      • ER consultations

  • Collaborate with inpatient laborist team and L&D nurses

  • Level III NICU and 24/7 anesthesia and surgical support

  • No resident or APP supervision required

Requirements
  • Licensure: Indiana or IMLC Eligible
