Medical Doctors Only Apply. A OBGYN Physician General obstetrics and Gynecology practice is seeking a qualified physician for Elko, NV. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. OB-GYN – Need a Board Certified (or Board Eligible with plans to become certified) OB-GYN. MD or DO is fine. Opportunity is the option to join another in an employed practice or to establish a solo private practice with shared call. This is laparoscopic surgery, general GYN and OB procedures. Conservatively average 16-22 patients per day. Practice call is 1:2 and Unassigned call is 10 days a month. Equipment includes NOVASure, ESSURE, Hysteroscopy and ablation equipment, Ultrasound equipment, Colpo, Cryo, NST, LEEP. There are 3 other OB-GYN’s and 1 mid-wife in town now. One of the OB/GYN’s in town will be retiring June 30 2015. Hospital delivers approximately 700 babies per year. Elko County median age is 36 years old. Sign-on, relocation, student loan (if appropriate), marketing, practice management (depending on contract type) are all offered on a case-by-case basis. Other physicians in community will welcome new OB in town. Payor Mix is 25% Medicaid, 5% self-pay and 65%-70% commercial. Commercial contracts are predominately a percent of charges, as high as 95%. Practice is located within Hospital MOB on campus. Practice has established referral pattern to University of Utah - U of U MFM department is working towards a scheduled rotation in Elko, NV; otherwise most physicians will refer High-Risk patients to U of U for care. Patients are currently being seen from communities as far as 3.5 hours away. No visa candidates.
