Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) - Per Diem

About the Role

Oasis Nursing and Rehab of Green Valley is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our team! Responsibilities

  • Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs

  • Conduct occupational therapy treatments, such as exercises, activities, and training programs, to help residents regain independence and skills

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents

  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, adhering to regulatory guidelines and departmental standards

  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide coverage for residents' needs outside of regular business hours

  • Maintain a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and exceeding customer service expectations

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies

  • Current OTA certification or eligibility for certification in the state of Nevada

  • 1+ years of experience working as an OTA in a skilled nursing rehabilitation setting, preferred

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
