Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Pay: Competitive Per-Visit Compensation ($80 per visit)

Location: Oahu, Hawaii (Reliable transportation required)

Schedule: Flexible / Per Diem (PRN)

Always Best Care Home Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team on Oahu. This role offers the flexibility to create your own schedule while providing individualized care that helps patients improve communication, swallowing function, safety, and overall quality of life in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform speech-language pathology evaluations and assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes
  • Treat dysphagia, speech disorders, language impairments, voice disorders, and cognitive-communication deficits
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapy goals and progress
  • Collaborate with nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, and care teams
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and Medicare-compliant documentation

Qualifications
  • Current Hawaii Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience
  • Home health experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
