Docketing Technician (OA)

This Docketing Technician (OA) will perform docketing and complex legal report development using computerized case tracking and record-keeping systems. If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Docketing Technician (OA) support in the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Columbia, located in Washington, District of Columbia, focusing in the areas of docketing systems for Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) and legal support staff. Typical work assignments will include:

  • Maintains and extracts data from automated docketing databases and systems, input information into databases and systems and updates records.
  • Establishes and maintains legal files.
  • Provides legal support services to Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs), accept service of legal documents from opposing counsel or representatives.
  • Produces a variety of written documents and materials utilizing a variety of office automation applications, integrate output from different software types into word processing or desktop publishing text.
