Set up, operate, and maintain machinery

Job description

Operation of: set up, production, cleaning, and maintaining for a production cycle

Control and adjust machine settings

Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines

Inspect parts with precision/measuring tools

Maintenance of machines

Fix issues that might occur during the shift

Check in process parts for mistakes or flaws

Keep records of approved and defective units or final products

Education & Experience Requirements

High School diploma or GED, 1-2 years machine operating experience, or specific technical or vocational training may be required

Working knowledge of diverse high speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)

Understanding of production procedures, and adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
