Job description

Expectations of Child Nutrition Worker As directed by the Child Nutrition Manger, participate in food preparation in any area, serving of food, setting up counters, cashiering, operating dishwashing machine and cleanup of kitchen facilities and serving areas. Child Nutrition Worker Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the manager in various areas, including dishwashing, serving line, dish room, or cash register.
  • Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Keep work and service areas clean and sanitary, avoiding backlog of dishes and equipment.
  • Clear and clean dining tables and chairs, and sweep the kitchen preparation area.
  • Move and store food and supplies, including items up to 50 pounds.
  • Assist wherever needed to expedite work and ensure smooth operations.
  • Cooperate with team members, following instructions and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
