Job description

Overview

This position is responsible for leading management operations in the field. This manager reviews and supports assistants who deliver multiple ancillary services to Long Term Care Facilities in multiple states. Works collaboratively with all departments to achieve the coordination of high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise field members. Will participate in the hiring of, counseling of, and review process of all staff overseen by the region, as well as terminating of staff members when necessary.
  • Determine appropriate tools and provide training to the team to allow efficient and effective execution of assigned functions.
  • Responsible for attending and facilitating customer service meetings with nursing facilities.
  • Guide and work with new providers on first visits.
  • Responsible for enforcing policies and procedures as well as streamlining effective processes across multiple markets and practices.
  • Provides constructive feedback to management on a consistent basis.
  • State or multi-state travel required.
  • Must remain in good standing for motor vehicles reports, with a good driving record, and a valid auto insurance policy.
  • Ensure compliance and industry standards of HIPAA.
  • Monitor systems and processes for appropriate access, use and disclosure of, requests for, and protection of PHI. Ensure daily operations and actual practice conform to regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluates operational results and makes suggestions for improvement.
  • Orders equipment / supplies to ensure team has proper tools to complete job.
  • Communicates and follows up with team for compliance and performance related changes and issues.
  • Must have the ability to train and work hands-on in all aspects of the field operations to assist in daily operations.
  • Monitor scheduling of providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff for multiple locations.
  • Stay up to date with EMR functionality and processes.
  • Assist with implementation process on policy changes and improvements made by Corporation to maintain standardization.
  • Emphasize customer service in all aspects of operations.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of workflow.
  • Complete a monthly review process to ensure key measures are maintained.
  • Develop and monitor performance against targets.
  • Create and analyze ad-hoc reports for management, implement necessary changes.
  • Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information; always abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
  • Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years clinic or medical practice environment experience.
  • Minimum 4 years supervisory experience.
  • Hep B vaccination or declination.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and self-motivated to set the pace of the team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to solve problems independently and / or a team.
  • Work alongside team members.
  • Experience in EMR, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint preferred.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Anticipate needs in a proactive manner to increase satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of job responsibilities by initiating prompt and appropriate follow-up and/or action to solve problems.
