Job description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Ambulatory
Location: Syracuse, NY, United States
Assignment Duration: 14 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Position Type: Contract (Travel/Local)

Schedule & Shift Details:

  • Day Shift
  • Monday - Friday
  • 5 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)

Job Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" isย seeking a dedicated Ambulatory Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, experience in ambulatory care, and the ability to coordinate care effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments in an ambulatory setting
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care
  • Assist with procedures and manage patient flow in outpatient clinics
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and policies

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1.5+ years of recent acute care experience (within last 2 years)
  • Active New York RN license required
  • BLS certification required
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
  • Experience in similar or larger hospital settings preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ambulatory care experience
  • OB-GYN experience
  • Experience with Epic EMR
  • Experience in Level 1 Trauma settings
