About Us- Risk Management

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

plus on-call rotation after hours, weekends and holidays.

What You'll Do

Coordinates initiation, leading, and follow up significant event reviews and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes and lead and/or provide guidance and education as needed.

Oversees and tracks the implementation of corrective action plans resulting from the RCA's process. Assists and/or coordinates debriefing processes as needed.

Requirements

  • Current Missouri Registered Nurse, LPN, Respiratory Care Practitioner, or Physical Therapy License. If RN/LPN and license is a compact status, it must be in the RN/LPN's state of residence.

  • Previous years experience in risk management.

  • Preferred Patient Safety or Risk Management Certification

Preferred Requirements

  • Degree/licensure in a clinical field, Risk Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

  • National certification(s) such as: CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management), CPPS (Certified Professional in Patient Safety), or CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality).
