Loudoun Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 100-bed skilled nursing facility located in beautiful downtown Leesburg, VA. We have an exciting opportunity for a Unit Manager to join our team! 

Position Summary

The Unit Manager is responsible for the clinical oversight and management of an assigned nursing unit within our long-term care facility. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality resident care through effective leadership, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and supervision to RNs, LPNs, and Nursing Assistants.

  • Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care.

  • Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage.

  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.

  • Actively participate in care plans and ensure assessments are completed and updated in accordance with state and federal regulations.

  • Monitor documentation, resident condition changes, and staff performance to ensure compliance.

  • Maintain regulatory readiness and implement corrective action plans as needed.

  • Promote infection control, safety practices, and HIPAA compliance.

  • Prepare reports, track quality indicators while supporting departmental goals and special projects.

Qualifications
  • Active RN or LPN license in good standing.

  • Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience required, supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
