(2nd shift) pay rate $19.00/ Monday- Thursday 5:30pm- 4:00am and OT as needed

General Purpose: The Warehouse Lead / Switcher Driver is responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving logistics

while safely and efficiently managing the movement of trailers within the company yard. This role plays a critical part in

supporting warehouse operations, ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining yard flow, and promoting a safe,

organized, and productive work environment.

Managerial or Supervisory Duties & Responsibilities: None. This is an individual contributor role that provides

operational leadership and coordination.

Individual Contributor Duties & Responsibilities:

Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities in accordance with the shipping schedule.

• Check in drivers for live-load pickups and prepare, process, and distribute all required shipping documentation.

• Coordinate deliveries to Bona for RGA drivers and complete all associated shipping paperwork.

• Assist with preload activities to ensure accurate documentation; prepare complete paperwork packets from

loaders for driver pickup.

• Assign loads to forklift drivers to support safe and efficient loading operations.

• Accurately and timely enter shipping and receiving data into SAGE and Nulogy systems, including after-hours

drop-and-hook receipts.

• Monitor receiving dock activities and advise receiving personnel when trailers should be transferred to empties

to maintain contracted on-lot trailer requirements.

• Track and maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.

• Monitor and respond promptly to emails and phone calls throughout the workday.

Yard Switching & Equipment Operations

• Safely and efficiently move empty and loaded trailers within the yard to designated dock doors or staging areas.

• Communicate effectively with warehouse and operations staff using two-way radios.

• Conduct lot checks and dock inspections to ensure proper trailer placement and readiness.

• Inspect trailers and equipment for safety issues prior to movement and report concerns immediately.

• Accurately complete all required yard movement logs, safety documentation, and paperwork.

• Safely operate all RGA Enterprises, Inc. yard equipment in compliance with OSHA and company policies.

• Couple and uncouple trailers and position them accurately at dock doors.

• Maintain awareness of yard traffic, utilize horns appropriately, operate at safe speeds, and wear seat belts at all

times during equipment operation.

• Assist in maintaining facility security by following access control, yard control, and safety procedures.

• Ensure hazards, debris, and obstructions are removed from the company yard.

• Report all accidents, safety incidents, or violations promptly and appropriately.

Safety, Housekeeping, and General Responsibilities

• Perform routine walkthroughs of shipping areas, label rooms, docks, and indoor/outdoor yard areas to ensure

cleanliness, organization, and safety.

• Communicate promptly with drivers and warehouse personnel regarding safety concerns.

• Promote and support a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.

• Perform additional duties assigned; management reserves the right to modify responsibilities based on business

needs.

• Valid North Carolina Class A Driver's License required.

The physical demands and work environmental characteristics:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Required to stand, sit, and walk for extended and continuous periods.

• Ability to work in varying noise levels and outdoor yard conditions.

• Ability to turn head and look upward as required for safe equipment operation, with or without reasonable

accommodation.

• Work environment includes office settings, warehouse floors, docks, outdoor yard areas, stairs in some

locations, and a facility that manufactures chemicals.
