Job Description
The successful candidate must have demonstrated expertise in web-based application with GUI, JavaScript and server-side development (including web/app server and database server configuration and deployment), solid comprehension and application of Object-Oriented methodologies, a solid foundation in relational database design and development, and experience with design patterns, Agile/Scrum development.
The candidate should have the capability and interest to develop in a C#.NET/Database/IIS technology stack. Any additional experience in other technology stacks would be a bonus but is not required.
This position will mainly be working on building dashboards for our proprietary software.
Technology aside, the ideal candidate will be the consummate team player who realizes the value that technology can provide to end-users, and is interested in providing solutions that meet those needs, not building their own technical resume. In designing and building these solutions, the candidate will have the capability to understand and strive for technical perfection, but be confident and experienced enough to evolve to a pragmatic solution given technical, functional and operational constraints. As a developer the candidate will have the autonomy to design and develop solutions that meet the business needs. This autonomy comes with the responsibility to adhere to industry and team best practices.
Qualifications
• Full life cycle development
• Building highly scalable and high performance systems that support millions of transactions
• Ability to convert server side controls and business logic to client side controls and business logic.
• Design and develop our web-based applications
• Collaborate with product managers and customers to create new application features and enhancements
• Strong experience designing and working with n-tiered web applications (UI, Business Logic, Data Access).
• Work in a highly collaborative environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously.
• Problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of C# development and Object-Oriented methodologies
• Strong knowledge of SQL development and database design.
• Experience with design patterns, Agile/Scrum development
• Experience with user interface design
