POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supporting the Shading Department in meeting customer demands. The Technician will perform various duties as directed by the Shading Leadman to help streamline the Shading workload.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Follow all Safety, Quality, and environmental procedures.
  • Manage Shading inventory, staging areas, and in-process materials.
  • Spray and stock primed panels for Shading use.
  • Perform and track limited production batch testing; report off-quality findings to the Shading Leadman.
  • Collaborate with other departments on batch-related issues.
  • Use SAP, Excel, and Word to manage inventory, track batches, and report results.
  • Safely operate forklifts and limited production equipment to make accurate batch adjustments.
  • Maintain housekeeping, testing equipment, and lab/production areas.
  • Support waste handling, inspections, and spill prevention per NPAA procedures.
  • Work assigned shifts, overtime, and flexible hours as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and customer needs.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED with two years of relevant experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to wear a respirator
  • Working knowledge of SAP or other manufacturing systems; proficiency in MS Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

SALARY RANGE:
$19.12 to $28.32 hourly. Compensation for this role is negotiable based on experience and skill set.
