Job description

Position Summary

The Order Puller will be responsible for accurately pulling customer orders by using RF Scanner. The puller needs to verify product and count accuracy, receive, and label per procedures, and deliver finished load to designated area. The puller will need the ability to accurately measure in linear feet and properly build a pallet.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Scan's location and pulls product using RF Scanner to fulfill customer orders in a safe and effective manner. 
  • Ensures all units are organized, leveled, and tightly built for transport.
  • Communicates any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor.
  • Places completed and labelled order into designated area once order is fulfilled.
  • Maintains a clean work area, sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, etc.
  • Successfully passes all Novo tugger training and operates a tugger following all safety requirements established within Novo.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements.
  • Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards. and maintaining a safe work environment Ability to move awkward product lengths and weights.
  • Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills. 
  • Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
  • Flexibility in scheduling – able to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience driving industrial powered equipment.
  • High School Diploma and GED
