What We’re Looking For:

  • ARRT (R) certification and graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program

  • Prior acute care experience with 3 years of experience in Radiology

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

What You'll Do

The Radiology Supervisor manages resources and provides leadership and oversight to ensure smooth and coordinated daily flow and continuous improvement of core processes. The Radiology Supervisor leads the professional growth and development of each team member through education, training, mentoring, and guidance. The Radiology Supervisor will spend 75% of time in the patient care area.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.

  • Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in radiology, required. Minimum of two years of experience in supervision, preferred.

  • Licensure/Certification: Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography – RT(R), required. Applicable state licensure, required.

  • Additional Skills (required): Exhibits leadership characteristics to include: listening to gain understanding, keeps promises made, supports the organization in word and deed, supports the team, communicates effectively and asks for feedback, makes fair decisions based on the needs of all team members, shares knowledge to improve and challenge team to be their best, treats others with fairness and respect, chooses competent, compatible team members, visualizes the big picture for the department as it relates to the organization, creates a personal connection with team members that fosters mutual respect, has a work ethic which is a model for the team and motivates team members through encouragement and vision for the department. Has ability to successfully complete department specific skill validation and competency testing. Must secure and maintain private and confidential information. Has ability to effectively communicate with other Novant Health leaders and team members. Detail oriented. Has the ability to work independently and problem solve.
